Home Sales Driving the Economy

Attached is a Wall Street Journal article from this week that could be worth passing on to your clients or sphere.
The housing market, which was blamed for the economic recession starting over five years ago, is now to thank for signs of "recovery". "Housing seems unfazed by the uncertainty that is plaguing other parts of the economy" says one economist and "an improving housing market is buoying customers’ spirits and spurring spending". Rising home prices in the Central Valley (and Nationally) are giving homeowners a rejuvenated sense of household wealth and thus a willingness to spend in other areas.
At the end of the day, with historically low interest rates, now is a great time to buy and rising prices have put sellers in the best position in 4 years!
Let’s keep working as we enjoy the holidays!
Good luck!
